Kipto is a beta AI concierge. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you give it.

What you type

When you send a message or build a trip plan, what you typed is sent to our server and then to our AI provider, Anthropic (the maker of Claude), so it can write your answer and search the web. Don't type things you wouldn't want shared with those services, like passwords, card numbers or ID numbers.

Confirmations, screenshots and flight numbers

If you use Add details, the confirmation text or screenshot you add is sent to Anthropic so it can read out things like flight times, an address or a confirmation code. It may include your name or booking details, so only add what you're comfortable sharing, and you can cover anything private before taking a screenshot. If you type a flight number, the number and date are sent to our flight schedule provider (AeroDataBox) to look up the times. We don't keep your confirmations or screenshots on our server. The details Kipto pulls out are saved only in your browser, with your trip.

What we store

Links to other sites

Trip plans link to sites like airline websites, Kayak, Google Flights, Booking.com, Airbnb, Resy, OpenTable, Tock, Google and Google Maps. When you open those links, those sites' own privacy policies apply.

Visitor counts

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't track you across other websites or collect what you type.

Cookies

Kipto doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Kids

Kipto is meant for people 13 and older.
